COVID19 Measures

Participants are reminded that COVID19 has not disappeared and still presents a risk of serious illness or death. To mitigate against this, the IRW committee have agreed to the following adjustments:

All participants must register their attendance either by scanning the Check In Scotland QR code or by completing the onsite register.

Accommodation

Groups of up to 8 people from 4 households can share a room.

Workshops/Activity Hall

Hand sanitiser must be used when entering the workshops/activity hall.

The rooms must be ventilated at all times. Please do not close doors or windows.

Tables will be placed to allow some social distancing.

Disinfectant wipes will be provided for participants to clean their tables/equipment.

Communal Areas

Masks should be worn when moving around communal areas such as toilets and corridors.

Hand sanitiser must be used when entering the kitchen.

Although it is not mandatory to wear face masks in the kitchen, it is strongly advised that these are worn, especially when cooking or handling food..

Flying site

Disinfectant wipes will be provided for participants to clean their equipment. This is particularly important if sharing any equipment such as launch controllers or pads.

Hand sanitiser should be used before using anyone else's equipment.

Participants should keep a safe distance from other people.

Transport to the site should be arranged in advance as individual drivers may be reluctant to share their car.

If you or anyone in your household has any of the symptoms of COVID- 19 you must stay away. The main symptoms are:

A high temperature

A new continuous cough

A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
